Everyone loved our first post full of tips so much that we decided to add to it with a couple more tricks and ideas. Enjoy.

Seasonal Swag

Show everyone how popular you are. Make a hanging banner out of your Christmas cards. Simply tack each end of a piece of coloured string, twine or ribbon against a wall, doorway or mantle and drape your cards over for a colourful display.

Overhead Ornaments

Don’t limit your Christmas baubles and bells to your Christmas tree. Accentuate your overhead lighting by hanging Christmas ornaments on your chandeliers. Finish the effect off with a beautiful satin ribbon gently hanging down.

DIY Ornaments

Add a couple of drops of festive food colouring to white glue. Make sure the glue is in a squeeze bottle or add it so an icing piping bag. Draw simple Christmas shapes and outlines on waxed paper. Pipe the glue onto the paper, following your drawn outlines. Allow to dry and then peel your glue ornaments off the wax paper and hang them on the tree or in windows. Thread them with ribbon for even more colour.

Scent-sations

Tie a couple of cinnamon sticks together using a festive ribbon. Create a number of these and display them around the house in bowls or on plates or simply place them around the house on shelves or bookcases. They give off a wonderful scent and look great.

Whatever you do, we hope you and your family have a blessed Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
